Pull into the parking lot off Hwy 99 and you'll notice something right away: people here actually know each other's names. Lynnwood Elks Lodge #2171 has earned a reputation as one of the friendliest lodges in the Pacific Northwest, and that's not a marketing line. It comes straight from members who've visited dozens of lodges across the country and ranked this one at the top.

The lodge has hosted everything from intimate memorial gatherings honoring retired Navy veterans and beloved school bus drivers, to lively social events that draw members from neighboring communities like Everett and Edmonds. The space itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and set up to handle both quiet moments of remembrance and full-room celebrations with equal grace.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has stood for charitable giving, care for veterans, and youth programs for over 150 years nationally. Lodge #2171 carries that mission forward right here in Lynnwood, contributing to Snohomish County through scholarships, food drives, and community outreach. If you've been curious about what goes on behind those doors, the answer is simpler than you'd expect: good people doing good work.

What We Offer

Lodge #2171 offers a full calendar of member activities, social events, and charitable programs rooted in the four cardinal virtues of the Elks: Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love, and Fidelity. Members gain access to the lodge hall for private gatherings, memorial services, and celebrations, along with a welcoming social atmosphere that makes every visit feel like a reunion.

The lodge actively supports veterans' programs, youth scholarships, and local food assistance initiatives throughout the Lynnwood and broader Snohomish County area. Regular lodge meetings keep members engaged in governance and community planning, while themed social nights and holiday events fill the calendar year-round.

Membership in the Elks is open to U.S. citizens who believe in God, and the process is straightforward. Prospective members can reach out through the national Elks portal at elks.org or stop by the lodge directly. Whether you're transferring from another lodge like nearby #2026 in Paradise, CA, or joining for the first time, Lodge #2171 makes the transition feel immediate and warm.

"This is an updated review for the lynnwood elks location. I applied for a scholarship that Lynnwood Elks offered, and was very disappointed by the lack of communication from this scholarship opportunity. Not even a simple thank you for applying, not even a confirmation that my application was received despite sending follow-up messages. This is very discouraging for people who are trying to get enough money for college."

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
